The Collaborative Arts Research Initiative (CARI) is an interdisciplinary, arts-focused research engine driven by the interests of faculty from across the University. By facilitating collaborations across disciplines, CARI maximizes the impact of faculty arts research, while enriching the University, local, and regional communities.

Introducing the 2024-2026 CARI Faculty Fellowship Cohort
CARI has announced its newest cohort of faculty fellows, selected from a large and competitive applicant pool. These faculty members will participate in a collaborative arts research community for the next two years. The CARI Faculty Fellowship aims to help faculty diversity and expand the impact of their work and develop new interdisciplinary research.

Arts Research Funding
The Collaborative Arts Research Initiative (CARI) is pleased to offer limited per-project funding for arts research. Awarded funds can be used for a broad range of purposes, including but not limited to: supplies, travel, publication fees, and conference participation so long as these are in support of arts research.
